The new Red Cross Flanders Sango building was officially opened in Mechelen. 400 guests listened to inspiring speeches by Prime Minister Charles Michel, Federal Minister of Public Health Maggie De Block, Flemish Minister of Public Health Jo Vandeurzen, the Mayor of Mechelen, Bart Somers, and several others. During the following reception, the guests visited the new donor centre and admired the “Pearl of Life” artwork by Marc de Roover.
